The IQ is a better option for most users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin and lasts longer on charge, and does a better job of getting over obstacles. It also comes with mopping attachments that are able to handle sticky mess. The iRobot, on the other hand feels better built and has less components that require maintenance or replacement, incurs less recurring costs, can create virtual no go zones using its companion application. It is able to continue cleaning from the point it started, even if its battery runs out before it has finished. The iRobot is also controlled by voice, which can be a big plus for many users.
