The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.
In the course of testing, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. It does not use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to identify your home.
1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of a button. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.
This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do, and it can even remove pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot says that future models will be better.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. We like the statement, but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of what areas require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. And its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only downside is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay if want one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and then move away if it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden from view and also washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right, such as the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.
You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This is a great feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's some items that need to be cleared out frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can want. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.
The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet on one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty when needed.
Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and robotic hoovers a voice assistant that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're away from home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a specific path.
The X2 Omni is the best robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price range. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are great, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The control panel includes a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop efficiently without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for households with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
