The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
During testing it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough maps of your area to ensure that your home has a clean and tidy appearance.
This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do and can clean up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will get better with future models.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so that it is aware of areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. And its mopping system is better because its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than the vibrating pads.
The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a major issue if you want to own one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three cycles even when you've got a lot of dirt.
In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, produce little noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move on if it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the hidden bin and washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right for example, a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.
You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling here on furniture or other objects.
The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.
Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.
The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is among the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are great, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury which could make it a little more expensive than the average homeowner require.
Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the house. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it to its base station. The control panel has a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This creates a detailed floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease and avoid getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well, removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
